NUtrITION INFORMATION: Microorganisms that inhabit our skin and mucus membranes establish a miniature ecosystem with our bodies to maintain health and well being. Although the microflora ecosystem is generally stable, it is sensitive to certain factors. 3. They must perform functions that are advantageous to the host.
